Legionella bacteria particularly thrive in standing lukewarm water - the very water that first flows out of many buildings' traditional systems when the tap is opened. 

A mixing valve keeps the water temperature in the system above 50°C at all times, which is recommended to prevent bacterial growth. In Delabie systems, old water is not left standing in the pipework.

User safety - Anti-flashback feature 

The hot flash prevention feature is one of the key safety features of Delabie mixing valves. Automatic protection technology cuts off the hot water supply in the event of a cold water break, preventing damage from scalding hot water. The same technology works in the same way in the event of a hot water break. Safety is therefore built into the Delabie PREMIX from the design stage, with a temperature regulator and a 10-year guarantee - proof of quality and reliability. 

The Delabie mixing valve is reliable and maintenance-free 

Delabie PREMIX mixing valves are designed to be extremely reliable. They are easy to install and maintain, reducing costs, especially in the long term. In addition, their design is resistant to lime scale and corrosion, which extends the life of the valve and ensures its reliability under all conditions. If desired, heat shocks against Legionella can be carried out without removing the mixing valve.
