Sanitary ware expert

AQVA Finland Oy was founded in Helsinki in 2010. Currently the number one company in Finland in shower and drinking water filtration, in its early years it was a wholesaler selling HVAC installations, water purification systems, and plumbing fixtures for public spaces. Public plumbing fixtures accounted for the majority of its business until 2019, when water purification surpassed it.

As AQVA has been steadily moving towards becoming a self-sufficient water company that designs, shapes, and manufactures its own products, the need to separate the public sector business into its own company has become clear. In January 2022, AQVA Professional launched its own website.

Juha Aalto and Pasi Rautala in an interview with the Talotekniikka-magazine in 2011. AQVA's first exhibition consisted of different kinds of water coolers.

A reliable and knowledgeable partner

AQVA Pro focuses on importing and selling the world's leading sanitary ware for public spaces. An essential part of its operations has been supplying products to prisons, hospitals, sports halls, and restaurants.

From the very beginning, AQVA has been a reliable partner for many operators.

For example, Fitness24Seven fitness centers in Finland have been using products distributed by AQVA for over 12 years. The showers, taps, hand dryers, and hair dryers in use ensure carefree use, safety, and water savings.

"In fitness centers that are always open, showers and taps must be easy to use and reliable. It is absolutely essential for us that customers know how to use the products without the help of staff, and that there is no risk of the shower running in the middle of the night, for example," says Vella Mehtola, Operating Manager at Fitness24Seven. The company's strengths have always been its acclaimed service level, delivery reliability and speed, and wide selection.

Treffi Pub in Herttoniemi, known for its excellent food, relied on AQVA's wide and high-quality selection for its sanitary facilities. “The choice of furniture was influenced by its perfect fit for small spaces, as well as its style and durability,” says restaurant owner Andy Solomon. “We have been an AQVA customer for years and have always found high-quality furniture that suits our needs.”
